If it were spam, I'd agree with you. How many years have you sold on
Ebay and these newsgroups? I've got 8+ years, and you?

Never spammed a newsgroup, but 12 years on eBay with over 10k feedbacks.

Me either. 1k+ feedback, 8+ years on Ebay, and 5 star DSR.

    It is spam.

    > How many years have you sold on Ebay and these newsgroups?

Usenet (well, this newsgroup anyways) is not a market place.

No matter how long you've been selling on e-bay will change the fact
that this usenet newsgroup is not a marketplace.

Go start rec.autos.makers.chrysler.stuff-for-sale and post your stuff
    there.

I bet I could find your parts catalogs on a torrent.

Sure beats all the porn and OT spam in these groups. Mine is relevant
to the group, and isn't spam.

    > I bet I could find your parts catalogs on a torrent.

---Uh huh. Legal, FULL, OEM original versions of these same parts
catalogs? If you know where they are, why aren't you sharing that with
    the group for everyone's benefit?

---BTW, how's that parts catalog search coming along? Anything to
    share with the group?

You know what they say about being ignorant - right?

Spam is unsolicited advertising. That's exactly what you're doing.

    > Those that have bought from me would surely disagree with that.

Nobody here has posted a request for those parts catalogs.

If you've had people buy them based on you posting them here, you'd have
sold them the first time you posted your spam a few months ago.

And why exactly do I need a parts catalog in the first place?

If a part breaks on my car, I call up the dealer or aftermarket vendor
and ask if they have a johnson rod for a '72 whatsitcalled.

    > ----It's a place for all things Chrysler. Do you own the group?

You can make an ass here all you want - nobody will stop you, and nobody
here will buy from an argumentative, spammy ass like you.

    > ---Why recreate the wheel? Other folks don't have a problem
    > with it.

You mean all 5 people who actually read this group?

They just aren't bothered by taking part in this thread and telling you
    off.

    > Sure beats all the porn and OT spam in these groups.

There is no porn or OT spam if you use a real news server. A real news
server blocks spam postings. Google does not operate a real news
server. They don't have the brains or desire to block or filter
    anything.

You're a google-grouper. The lamest of lame posters to usenet.

    > Mine is relevant to the group, and isn't spam.

Your postings are relevant to my ass.

Your solicitations to profit via a sale violate the group's charter and
are spam. No opinions are necessary to come to that conclusion, merely
read the group charter. If you have something legitimate to sell, than
you can a legitimate place to market it.

    >>
    >>> How many years have you sold on Ebay and these newsgroups?

This is *NOT* ebay. This is a newsgroup. If you are looking for EBay,
    point your browser here: http://www.ebay.com

No, it is not. The newsgroup Charter specifically states what it is
for, and your wares do not fit the description.

Wrong. Go read the group's charter. This is NOT a for sale group or a
    place for your spam.

Yes, we certainly do have a problem with you violating the group
charter. We come here to share information about Chrysler products, not
to read your attempts to build your online market forum in the group.
